Gordon Atkinson

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gord Atkinson on August 26, 2019 at the age of 58 years. Loved companion and best friend of Kathy Boyle. Loving father of Jen and Gordi Atkinson (Stephanie). Dear brother of Roy Atkinson, Brian Atkinson and Helen Perry. Devoted granddad to Hailey. He will be sadly missed by his closest nephew Rory Atkinson and his children Ian and Katie and by nieces and nephews Tamara, Mandy, Sarah, Gordie Jr., Andrew and Katie. Great nephews Zaiden, & Zed. Cousins, Gus and Mo, As well as numerous other great nieces & nephews & cousins. Also good friends to Al Duchesne, Dave Butti and Judy Pezzola. Predeceased by his parents; Roy and Sarah ‘Sadie’ Atkinson and by his brothers Robert’ Bob’ Atkinson (Sharon) and Jimmy Atkinson. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
