KELLER, Heinz Karl Rudolf

After a long courageous battle with cancer Heinz passed away on Saturday July 20, 2019 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 83 years. Heinz is survived by his loving wife of nearly 48 years Rosemarie Keller (nee Schlueter). His son Rolf Keller (Cindy Coutts), and daughter Helen Keller (Hans Enders -deceased). Proud “Opa” to Trevor Keller (Tanya), Todd Keller (Lisa Graham), Derek Keller, Alexis Keller, Kirsten Micallef, and his great grandchildren Joshua, Nick, Chase, Hayden and Laura. Survived by his nephew and god son Armin Keller (Ute) and their children Christoph and Hannah. Heinz was predeceased by his parents Fritz and Helene (nee Duenisch) Keller. He will be missed by his great friends Ron and Diane Nowicki and their family, who have always been considered as his extended family. In keeping with Heinz’s wishes cremation will occur with a private family gathering to celebrate his life. If desired donations are suggested to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the ICU and the Palliative Care of the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their care and compassion, and to everyone at the Northeastern Ontario Cancer Clinic for the many years of care.
