Jean passed away peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre on April 1, 2018 at the age of 74 years. Jean was predeceased by her husband Len Sparling. Loving mother to Shelley Vandermeer (Tom McFarland), and beloved grandmother to Dylan and Alexander and great grandmother to Draven. Jean was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Juanita (nee Howard) McDonald and her brother Tom McDonald. She is survived by her Brother Joe McDonald (Diane) and her sister Rhonda Scott (Clifford –deceased). She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Friday April 6, 2018 from 2- 4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday April 7, 2018 at 11am. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. If desire donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the North Bay Humane Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
