Douma, Joe  

Peacefully passed away on April 26, 2018 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 84 years.  Predeceased by his loving wife Birgitt Douma (nee Schleehann). Joe will be lovingly remembered by his children; James Douma and Allison Hannaford (Rob). Cherished grandfather of Aaron Devost, Hunter and Andrew Hannaford and loving great grandfather to one great grandchild. Dear brother of Bill Douma (Marlene) and Alice Jucius. Great-grandchild. Predeceased by his daughter Stephanie Devost (David), his parents Ben and Reina Douma and by his sister Joan Bartley. As per Joe’s wishes cremation has taken place at Whispering Pine’s Funeral Home’s crematorium.  A celebration of Joe’s life will be conducted on Sunday May 6, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Empire Living in the Regency Room.
