BYRNES, Lawrence Thomas (Larry)

September 7, 1936 - September 4, 2018

Days before his 82nd birthday Larry passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, September 4th.

Preceded by death to his loving wife Lillian, his son Miles, his parents Agnes and James, his sister Norma and his brother Gilbert.

Larry is the loving father of James (Helga), the proud loving ‘Gramps’ to Myles (Caroline) and Meaghan (Jason) and adored ‘Old Gramps’ (Great Grandfather) to Carter.

Larry had a sense of humour that would light up a room. A ‘social butterfly’ who was always known to have a good joke or a story to tell. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

Special thanks to Dr. Buckley and the caring and dedicated nurses, physicians and staff of the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Thank you for your kindness, compassion and exceptional care.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church (299 Airport Ave.) on Saturday, September 22nd at 11:00am. Followed by a luncheon for friends and family at the 406 Squadron (406 First Ave. W) in North Bay.

Memorial donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation (Kidney Clinic) in Larry’s name would be greatly appreciated.
