Bedard, Marie-Jeanne (nee Laporte)

Peacefully passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on May 9, 2019 at the age of 79 years. Predeceased by her husband Garfield ‘Gary’ Bedard and daughter Brigitte. Loving mother of Garfield Jr. (Cindy). Cherished grandma of Nicole, Michelle and Joe Chayer, Vanessa and Bradley Bedard, Kyle and Shannon Hobson and great-grandchildren; Jessica, Amber, Alexis, William, Alexandre, Hailey, Logan, Christopher and Caleb. Dear sister of Alec (Lorraine), Paul (Mona) and Maurice (Eunice). She will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents William and Rose Laporte. Visitation will be held at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Monday May 13th, 2019 from 3-5 pm & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent-de-Paul on Tuesday May 14, 2019 at 11 am. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by her family.
