Mary Deanna (Lafleche) Jones

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the unexpected passing of Deanna on Mon. Oct. 28, 2019 at her home in Sturgeon Falls, Ont., at the age of 76 years.  Loving wife of 54 years to Bruce Robert Jones (predeceased Sept. 28, 2016). Dear mother of Kevin (Jackie), Ottawa, Ont., Chris, Surrey, B.C., & Cindy St-Amand (Paul), Sturgeon Falls, Ont. Grandmother to Arianne Jones (Dan), Zachary Jones (Hannah), Ottawa, Ont. Patrick St-Amand (Melissa), Chelmsford, Ont., & Jessica Guay (Ricky), Verner, Ont. Great-Grandmother to Klayten Guay, Ariel & Aurora St-Amand. Predeceased by her parents Edna (nee Spencer) & Simon Lafleche & brother Leonard. Loving sister to Robert Lafleche (Millie), Brian Lafleche (Lorraine), Joan Tooley (Brian), Frances Cockburn (Bruce), Jocelyn Rochon (Guy), Shirley Lafleche (Gilles Arcand), Giselle Couroux (Paul), Monique Thornton (Art), Danny Lafleche, David Lafleche (Rachelle), & AnneMarie Lafleche (Glen Lauzon).  Deanna came from a large family that she was extremely proud of & leaves many cousins, nieces & nephews. As well as many friends. Deanna was involved with the Catholic Women's League for several years.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Sat. November 16, 2019, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sturgeon Falls, with luncheon to follow. Interment at St. Mary's Resurrection Cemetery, Sturgeon Falls, Ont. Online condolences may be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
