It is with sadness, we announce the passing of Mary Levis (nee Ceresia). Loved and devoted wife of Ernie Levis for over 61 years. Loving mother of John and Carolyn.  Adored Gran of Jack, Ben, Sam and Sydney. Dear sister of Margaret Donald (Richard). Predeceased by her parents Peter and Rosa Ceresia and her siblings Clare, Frank, Kay, Dora and Vic. Mary will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is fondly remembered by close family friends John and Barbara.  Mary dedicated her life to teaching. She taught for 40 years, almost exclusively at Paul Davoud School at CFB North Bay. She completed her B.A. and certificate in Special Education while continuing to work fulltime and raising her children.  Mary was devoted to her students and respected by her colleagues. Mary had a special love for sports and excelled at basketball, curling and her beloved tennis. She was a life long member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, an accomplished bridge player in the Duplicate Bridge Club and assumed leadership roles in these and other organizations. Family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Sunday October 21, 2018 from 11 am until time of prayers at 12:45 followed by a Luncheon.
