It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nelson Grandmond on July 17, 2017 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 74 years. Dearly loved father of Leona, Jason Grandmond and Kim St. Gelais. He will be sadly missed by his 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Roger (Julie), Rod (Sam), Milton (Vawn), Randy, Morris (Debbie), Lucy Hanna, Marci Grandmond and Marlene Russel. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Moise Grandmond and Josephine (nee LeClair), brothers; Mervin Grandmond (Elaine deceased),Victor Leclaire and sister; Eunice McCormick (Brian). Family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Friday from 11 am till time of service at 1 pm. Cremation will take place at Whispering Pines Funeral Homes Crematorium. If desired donations to the Cerebral Palsy would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
