LEVESQUE, Omer

Omer passed away on March 31, 2018  at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 65 years. Loving Husband to Diane (nee Clouthier). Beloved father to Tammy Levesque (Corky), Marcel Levesque (Laurie), and René Levesque (Nat). Cherished grandfather to Cassandra, AJ, Jacob, Josée, Isabelle and Sam, great grandfather to Scarlett and one on the way. Omer was predeceased by his parents René and Delphine (nee Laplante) Levesque, his grandchild Zack, his brother Henry Levesque (Diane), his sister Yvette Derocher, and his baby sister Jeanette. He is survived by his siblings Rita Tanner (Bruce), Yvonne Bourdon (Pierre), Maurice Levesque (Brenda) and Robert Levesque (Lilianne). Omer will certainly be missed and forever loved by his good friends Cathy and Jack. His nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Omer loved his furry legged companions “Topti” and “Baby Girl”, and truly enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday April 5, 2018 from 11am to 1pm. A funeral service will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel at 1pm following the visitation. Cremation will follow at the Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium. If desired donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged.
