Philip David Bakewell

Bakewell Philip,

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Saturday April 14, 2018, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 60.  Philip was the loving husband to Lisa Bakewell (nee Lebeau). Philip was the cherished father to Katherine Bakewell (Corey Smith). Philip is predeceased by his father Frank Bakewell and survived by his mother Margaret Bakewell (nee Bowley).  Philip will be fondly remembered by his two brothers Geoffery Bakewell (Anne-deceased) and Kenneth Bakewell (Alice deceased).  Philip will also be remembered by his nieces and nephews Arthur-deceased, Ingrid, Nickolai and Marika.  The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for all of the care and support they provided Philip during this time.  As per Philip’s wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium and a private burial at a later date will take place.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.  Online Condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
