Richard unexpectedly passed away at his home surrounded by the love of his family on Friday September 22, 2017 at the age of 72 years. Richard was the loving husband of Gloria Falconi (nee Kluke). Richard was the cherished father to Kerianne Laporte (Paul), Shawn Falconi, and Shannon Falconi. Loving and proud grandfather to Karlee and Maddi. Richard was predeceased by his parents Michael Falconi and Anne (nee Felice). Lovingly remembered by his brothers Frank Falconi(Vivienne), Albert Falconi (Shirley) and Gary Falconi (Mary). Richard was dearly loved by Claudia and Glenn Hall, Brian and Joey Kluke, and Brent and Deanna Kluke. He was also beloved by many nieces and nephews. He will most be remembered for his gentle spirit and kind demeanor. During the summer months, he would often be found by the poolside or walking to Goodlife. His love for music, passion for teaching, and his prolific writing has left a legacy that will live on for generations to come. The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Saunders, Dr. T. Shulman, Dr. Harmen, Dr. Venne and all the doctors and nurses at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, they were “his Angels." The family will be receiving visitors on Wednesday September 27, 2017 at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption from 1 pm to 2 pm. A memorial mass to celebrate Richard’s life will follow at 2 pm at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption.
