It is with sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Rita McDonell on October 15, 2017 at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth McDonell. Loving mother of Michael (Noemi) and Mark McDonell. Cherished grandma of Megan (Jamie Farquar), Lucas, Taylor, and Wesley. Rita will be sadly missed by her 3 special nieces; Donna Demarco, Vicki Wunsch and Pat Gushulak, her best friend Ann Cousineau and by her extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents; Edgidio and Roselina Virgili and by her siblings; Victor (Marie), Albert, Edward, Norma Demarco (Albert) and Mary Hawman (Max). Family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church on Thursday at 1 pm. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
