Pessah, Tammy Lynn (nee Moorey)

April 2, 1962 – April 20, 2019

On the afternoon of April 20th, Tammy Pessah died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Those who knew Tammy knew she lived life to the fullest, took on all challenges with a positive outlook and loved with everything she had.

Tammy loved her family and they always came first to her. Tammy was married to the love of her life, Brian Pessah; her greatest joy was her children, Andrew and Michelle.  She will be sadly missed by her parents David and June Moorey,  sisters Ginger Moorey and Norine Moorey (Rheal Gosselin), sister-in-law Sharon Geleyn (Daniel), father-in-law David Pessah, nieces  Amy (Chris, Eloise, Clara), Rebecca, Emily, Shanna and Laurel.  She will also be missed by her extended family, neighbourhood friends, colleagues, and everyone who was lucky enough to have her in their lives. Tammy lived her life with no regrets, her passions were her family and her nursing career.  Tammy never did anything half heartedly, from her theme parties to her household decor, she loved to learn new things, had a desire to help others, and was hopeful about making a change in the world.  The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home at 591 Cassells Street in North Bay on Friday, April 26th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A memorial service in Tammy's honour will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church on Saturday, April 27th,  at 11 am.
