Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, on December 2, 2017, at the age of 93, surrounded by her loving children. The last of her generation, Yolande outlived her parents Ferdinand Raymond and Lena LeSieur; her siblings Laurier, Philippe, and Jeannette; as well as all her in-laws. Predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Hervé, and two sons, André and Jean-Marc, both in 2014. Cherished mother of Monique Stonier (late Albert ) of Ottawa, and Ray of Fort McMurray, she is also survived by three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A former school teacher, Yolande loved music, photography, sewing, swimming, and baking. She enjoyed her years at the Empire Living Centre where her lovely wedding reception was held at the Empire Hotel in 1949.

The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses of the North Bay Regional Health Centre whose dedicated care helped make her comfortable until the very last. The family asks that you consider donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday December 6, 2017 from 5-9 pm. Memorial service will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel at 11AM on Thursday December 7, 2017 followed by a burial at St.Mary’s Cemetery, and luncheon to follow at McGuinty Funeral Home.
