Anna was born on April 5, 1946, in Pietrafitta, Cosenza, Italy and settled in North Bay, Ontario, Canada where she married Alfredo Celebre, 55 years ago, the love of her life. She will be dearly missed by her devoted son Carlo Celebre (Catharine) and her precious grandchildren, Dante and Gianna.

She is survived by her sister Lena Pavone (Giuseppe predeceased) and brother Mariano Cirullo (Vicky), as well as her brothers-in-law, Antonino Celebre (Pina), Mario Celebre (Carmela predeceased), Luigi Celebre, and Giuseppe Celebre (Saverina). Anna is also predeceased by her sisters-in-law Yolanda Scaglione (Luigi), Filomena Cesario (Umberto) and Maryanne Cirullo (nee Veltri). She will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends.
Anna’s positive attitude towards life, despite her health challenges, is something many will always admire. Her infectious smile always brightened the room. Her courage and strength was inspirational to all who knew her. She was a long-time employee at Demarco’s Confectionary and a lifelong supporter of many Davedi Club functions. Anna was a person of strong faith and believed in the power of prayer. The unconditional love she had for family and friends was a blessing for us all. We find peace that Anna is no longer suffering.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the entire Cassellholme team. Their tender and compassionate care of Anna is something that will never be forgotten. We are forever grateful.
