Antji (Anne) Emma Harvey (1929-2021)

Anne was born March 17, 1929 in Puslinch Twp, Ontario, to Teaka Brandsma and Grietja Buren of Friesland, Holland, and passed away peacefully on March 21, 2021 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

Anne married William Edward Harvey (1929-2000) in North Bay, Ontario, and the family relocated to Pine Creek Rd in Callander in 1965. She is lovingly remembered by their four children: Gwen, Katheen (George Boudreau), Pauline (Carl Bannenburg) and William (Cheryl Glidden), as well as by their grandchildren, Gillian Harvey and Slab Bannenburg, and her sister, Sytske (Oscar Drijber).

She was a member of the St Alphonsus Ligouiri parish in Callander, a member of the Wasi Road WI, a member of the Callander Historical Society and of the Callander Horticultural Society, and previously been the Callander column writer for the Almaguin Highlands newspaper.

A private family graveside ceremony will be held at the Callander Cemetery in the spring.
