Aurore Romain

ROMAIN, Aurore (Nee Trudel) passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Aurore was 91 years old. She is survived by her son Bruce Romain. She was predeceased by her loving husband John, her daughter Kathy Lott, and her parents Arthur and Victoria (Nee Sauve) Trudel. She is survived by two sisters, Annette Tremblay and Jeannine Morin. Aurore was predeceased by her two sisters Bella Roy and Florence Fournier and five brothers Herby, Nelson, Fred, Omer, and Willie. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson. John and Aurore were married for 56 years. They enjoyed country music and travelling. Aurore enjoyed walking a couple of miles each day and keeping fit; she also loved cooking and baking. The family would like to thank our dearest friend Angela Giroux for her support and comfort that she provided at this difficult time in our lives. We are grateful for friends like you. The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday, August 3, 2023, between the hours of 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel (North Bay) on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 11:00am. An interment at the Forest Lawn Cemetery will be held at a later date.
