A mother should never outlive her baby and I’ve been told to stand strong and allow myself to grieve.  

Over the last nine months, as you grew inside of me, so did the plans that I had for us to share together.  From the food cravings to you keeping me up during the night, to you growing bigger and bigger and giving me back pains, and the dance parties you had inside me right when I was about to go to sleep - these are all fond memories I have of the time I got to spend with you.  As I got closer to your due date, I slowly began to build a home for you to be proud of and began planning playdates with my friends’ babies and you to share together, excited to show you off to the world.

My Dad, and Grandma, and even my uncles were all just as excited for me to bring you into the world, to spend time with you, and babysitting or visiting with you the moment you were born.

Too soon you were taken, but I will hang onto all the conversations we had while you kicked inside me, letting me know you were listening.  I will continue to talk to you every single day and have faith that you will hear that you are alive in my heart and that I will never forget you.  You are my Son, Angel, and you were loved from the moment I knew I was pregnant with you, and I promise to love you as death cannot tear us apart.  I will see you again in Heaven, so keep a spot for me next to you and I will see you again my sweet, sweet Angel.
