It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the peaceful passing of Conrad Deschene on January 20th, 2024 at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice, in his 86th year.

Predeceased by his wife Diane Faye Deschene. Loving father to Christopher Deschene (Cindy), and Susan Campbell (Keith). Cherished grandpa to Tyler Campbell (Stephanie), Ryan Campbell (Laura), and Keith Deschene (Bree). Loving great grandpa to Penelope, Cora and Jack Campbell. Conrad was predeceased by his parents,Antoinette (née Carriere) and Anatole Deschene, brothers Gaston, Yvon and sister Claudette. 

Conrad is survived by his sisters Annette Corbeil, Yvette Corbeil, Rita Giroux, Cecile Boulanger (Marcel), Yvonne Boulanger (Romeo) and brother Marcel Deschene. 

He will always be lovingly remembered for his kindness and making sure that the trails were ready to go, with his best friend and brother-in-law Marcel, for snowshoeing and walking through the woods, for his many sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends to enjoy.

Respecting Conrad’s wishes, cremation will occur with no public services. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Doctor Moore, Doctor Kumar and the Care Partners team, Nurses and Staff at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice for their outstanding care and compassion towards Conrad and his family.

Donations are suggested to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice and would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
