It is with broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Donna Edwards on February 1, 2020 at the age of 74 years. Dearly loved wife of Bruce Edwards. Loving mother of Judy (Doug) and Donna-Marie (Colin). Cherished Grandma of Michelle, Sabrina (Matt) and Great Grandma of Nathan, Joel, Jeremy and Kylie. Predeceased by her mother Aleta Noreen Gow. Sadly missed by her extended family and friends. Spending time with her family and friends was extremely important to Donna.  This was evidenced through her baking, cooking, sewing, and crafting. Dedicated to her family, she was a soft and gentle person who has left a positive impact on her children and grandchildren.  She was a member of the Powassan Wesleyan Church and enjoyed the fellowship of her Church family.  As an active member of the Historical Automobile Society of Canada, Donna enjoyed all the activities and travel that was involved. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Homes Crematorium. A Celebration of her life will be held February 19, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the Powassan Wesleyan Church. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or a Charity of your Choice would be gratefully appreciated by her family.
