Elaine Florence (Henkel) Dempster

Elaine passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on August 3, 2021, at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Alexander Dempster. Elaine and Alexander both lived together in North Bay for 33 years where they made a lot of memories. Loving mother to Craig Dempster (Elaine Dempster) and Steven Dempster (Donna Chrisp). Cherished grandmother to Kelly (Kyle) and Bryan as well as a great-grandmother to Parker and Lucas. Elaine was predeceased by her parents Walter and Hilda (nee Songhurst) Henkel. Elaine will always be fondly remembered by her extended family and Donna’s children Melissa, Courtney, and Spencer. Elaine will be forever missed by all her apartment building friends as well as by her very close friend Audrey Pask. A special thank you to all the staff at the North Bay Regional Health Centre (Cedar Lodge) for all their care and compassion towards Elaine. The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Saturday August 14, 2021, from 1 to 2pm with a Celebration of Elaine’s Life following at 2pm. (The service will be live streamed on the McGuinty Funeral Home Limited -Facebook Page). Covid protocols are in place and require social distancing and the requirement to wear masks or face coverings in the funeral home.
