Eleanor (Evers) Finlayson

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Eleanor Finlayson at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on July 26, 2020 at the age of 80 years. Loving mother of Debra Lee Doris partner Ken Dawe, Sharon Marie partner Keith Birch, Robert Ian (deceased), Donna Ann Marlene partner Thomas Bolton and Rodney James Finlayson partner Avril. Cherished Nanny and GG of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Donna Chowns. Sadly, missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Orval and Muriel Evers and her sister Bonnie Rowley. Family will be receiving visitors at Whispering Pines Funeral Home (Powassan) on Thursday July 30, 2020 from 6-9 pm. A private service will be held. Please note as per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, https://thebao.ca/registrars-directive-changes-to-funeral-and-visitation-attendance/ attendance numbers will be restricted. Please be aware that COVID protocols are in place. Masks/face coverings are mandatory. Interment will take place at the Commanda Union Cemetery.
