Elizabeth Sabourin Obituary

Elizabeth (Liz) Linda Sabourin peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family on February 3rd, 2021 at Cassellholme (North Bay, ON) at the age of 67 years, after a lengthy illness with dementia. Beloved mother to Heintje Andreason (Julie) and Charlotte Gaudreau (Robert). She will be greatly missed and always remembered by her grandchildren Benjamin, Paige, Maddyn and Carter.

Liz was a fun loving, compassionate and caring person. She always helped others and supported anyone in need. She loved to be with family and always made people laugh. Liz was super creative and artistic in that she made handmade Teddy Bears for many people as gifts.

Liz is predeceased by her parents Willi Hammer and Charlotte Hammer (nee Heiner) as well as by her brother Mike “Harold” Hammer (Suzie). A private celebration of life will be held at later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the All Heart Pet Rescue (Powassan,ON) would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Liz had the biggest heart for animals of all kinds.

Special thanks to Dr. Derrick Yates, both the Staff at the North East Regional Hospital (B1 ward) and Casselholme (Maple ward) for the caring and support you provided Liz and family.
