Elwood Mitchell

Elwood passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on July 12, 2021 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband to Frances (nee Rouse). Loving father to Donald Mitchell, John Mitchell (Jen), and Jason Mitchell (Mandy). Cherished grandfather of Andrew Mitchell, and Joshua Mitchell. Affectionately known as Butch he was predeceased by his parents Elwood Sr. and Mary (nee Jawbone) Mitchell. He is survived by his siblings Christabelle Morrow (Wayne), Marina Mitchell, Carey Mitchell (Diane), Patricia Fudge (Tommy-deceased), and Kirkland Mitchell (Margaret), and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Elwood’s wishes cremation has occurred and a celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
