Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on November 11, 2018 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Laurette (nee Hebert). Loving father of Thérèse Boudreau of North Bay, Carol Lafrance (Dan) of Stouffville, Pierre Boudreau (Christine) of Corbeil, Emile Boudreau Jr (Lise Bertrand) of Gatineau, Quebec and Dan Boudreau (Sharon) of Stittsville. Grand-papa will be sadly missed by his grandchildren; Pascal (Cindy), Martin (Noamie),Nicholas, Jaclyne, Julianne, Sabrina and Sarah. Emile will be sadly missed by his 4 brothers, 1 sister, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Henri and Lucie Boudreau and his 2 brothers. Emile was a family man, he always said that his greatest accomplishment in his life was his family. He enjoyed ice fishing, hunting and taking his family on Sunday drives, exploring new roads and meeting new people. He was a carpenter by trade and worked hard to provide for his family.  Family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Friday November 16, 2018 from 2- 4 & 7-9 pm and also on Saturday November 17, 2018 from 8:30 am – 9:45 am. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas d’Aquin Parish (Astorville) on Saturday November 17, 2018 at 11 am. Donations to the Alzheimers Society would be gratefully appreciated by his family. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Gauthier, staff on D3, acute care and CDU of the emergency dept at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their care and compassion shown to our family.
