Estella Marie (nee Johansen) Matheson-Colosimo

Estella Marie Matheson-Colosimo passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on December 19th, 2020 at the age of 80 years. Estella is predeceased by her husband Danny Pasquale Colosimo. Loving mother to Iain Matheson (Andrea), Pamela Yachuk (Tony), Tina Matheson, Shelley Matheson, and Vernon Matheson. Cherished grandmother to Browen, Tucker, Shane, Megan, Olivia, Domonic (Kat), Corrine, Genevieve, Matheson (Matty), Ella Marie, and Great grandson, Malakai. She is survived by her siblings George, James, Charlie, Alfred Johansen and Eloise Nelson. Estella was predeceased by her parents George Johansen and Stella Johansen (nee Robinson) and by her brother Gerry. Estella was a strong lady who loved her family. She served her country in the military in the Air Force and later as a Civilian employee at CFB North Bay for many years.  Estella was also a scout leader for several years.  She was always very active in her church, and enjoyed being a member of the Chapel Guild. In retirement Estella provided palliative support and actively volunteered in her community raising funds for the North Bay Regional Health Centre MRI foundation and Cancer research. Funeral Services are private. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
