Garrett Normoyle

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Garrett Normoyle on January 15th 2023, at the age of 28 years. 

Garrett will be forever missed by his life partner Anna Jaworowicz and his dog Harvey as well as his parents Jennifer Barnes, John Hitchins and Tony Normoyle. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Emma Normoyle, Brandon Normoyle & Stef Baglieri, Emily Hitchins and Aaron Hitchins & Logan Ross. Cherished grandson to Geoff & Liz Barnes, Sylvia Currie and Ann Hitchins. Garrett leaves behind his aunts and uncles Kim, Heather & Marty, Michael & Shelley, Steve, Liana & Rob and Beth & Margot as well as his cousins Carli (Jordan), Allison, Cameron, Nick (Bobbie), Rachel, Steven, Justin (Susan), Megan and Jada. Predeceased by his grandparents Joseph Normoyle and Jim Currie.

Garrett truly loved life and the people he shared it with. Garrett put his energy where it was important, never too serious and always on Garrett time. Unorganized yet so organized, he did love a good spreadsheet. Garrett was a hard worker, intelligent, courageous, selfless, caring, spontaneous, handy and versatile. Those dance moves though, when he wasn’t the dj of the party he was the life of the party. He was who he was, infectious, his laugh was contagious.

A cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home and a celebration of Garrett’s life will be held on Saturday May 6th, 2023 at the Shores of Lake Dore, 668 Point Church Drive
