Georgina (Lavalley) Campbell

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on October 27, 2021, at the age of 92 years.  Georgina was the beloved wife of the late Howard Campbell (1976).  She was the loving mother to Katherine Belanger (Raymond predeceased), Donna Truchon (Raymond), Bonny Campbell, Holly Donaldson (Ralph predeceased)and son in law Gerry Laderoute (predeceased) . She was the cherished grandmother to Jim, Tracey (Kirk), Candy (Mike), Robin (Shannon), Shelly, Tanya (John), Kevin (Kelly), Kris, and 19 beloved  great grandchildren. She will be missed by her good friend Jason. She is predeceased by her parents Matt Lavalley and Sarah Lavalley (nee Mullen), her adopted father Pete Mullen and  her sister Florence Punchy Burnett (Milfred). Georgina was the past president of the Ladies Auxiliary Branch 23 North Bay; she was a dedicated Blue Jays fan but loved every sport . She could be found almost any day at Ivan's restaurant. Anyone who knows Georgina knows she may have been small, but she was mighty. Georgina's family would like to express their heart felt gratitude to Dr. Trenker, Dr. Jinnah and the amazing staff at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice. Your care and compassion will never be forgotten.  The family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Monday November 1st, 2021, between the times of 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The family have chosen to follow the new Covid-19 protocol requiring guests attending visitation and the funeral service to be fully vaccinated. Proof of Vaccinations and Government ID are required and the wearing of masks and face coverings while in the funeral home.
