Gerald Brochu

C’est avec tristesse que la famille Brochu annonce le décès de Gérald Brochu, le 11 avril 2022, à l’âge de 73 ans. Gérald laisse dans le deuil son épouse de 52 ans, Lise, son fils Patrick (Christa), ses petits-enfants adorés Étienne et Bastien, sa sœur Hélène (Claude), ainsi que plusieurs bons amis.

Les souvenirs de Gerry (papi) nous accompagneront et nous aideront à traverser cette épreuve. Sa joie de vivre, son grand cœur, sa passion, sa générosité et son sens de l’humour faisaient de lui un homme toujours apprécié qui a su éclairer de nombreux apprenants avec ses paroles sages durant sa carrière d’enseignant. 

Gérald, mari, père, grand-papa, frère, beau-frère, oncle et ami laisse un grand vide dans nos vies et dans nos cœurs.

Une célébration de sa vie aura lieu à une date ultérieure.

It is with sadness that the Brochu family announces the passing of Gérald Brochu on April 11, 2022, at the age of 73. Gérald leaves behind his beloved wife of 52 years, Lise, his son Patrick (Christa), his much-loved grandsons Étienne and Bastien, his sister Hélène (Claude) as well as many good friends.

The memories of Gerry (Papi) will accompany us and help us through this difficult time. His joie de vivre, his big heart, his passion, his generosity and his sense of humor made him a man who was well loved by many. Gerry’s wisdom positively impacted many young learners during his career as an educator.

Gérald, husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother in-law, uncle and friend will be forever remembered.

A memorial visitation will be held at a the Corbeil Four Seasons Club on Saturday October 1, 2022 between the hours of 2pm-4pm, with a celebration of life beginning at 2:30 pm.
