Gerald Dionne

With heavy hearts, our family announces the peaceful passing of Gerald (Jerry) Dionne on Friday, September 17, 2021.

Jerry passed at the age of 58 years after a very courageous battle with cancer. 

Beloved husband of Theresa Dionne (nee Hendry). Loving father to Natasha Lefebvre (Daniel) and cherished grandfather to Daymond and Gerald Dionne. 

Gerald is survived by his mother Joan Dionne (nee Villeneuve), and his brother Ray Dionne (Derica). He is predeceased by his father Raymond Dionne, and his sister Annette. 

Gerald worked at Mr. Transmission for 23 years before venturing into the Tim Hortons family for 11 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Our family would like to acknowledge the wonderful team of doctors and nurses who went above and beyond to provide their time and compassion. Special thanks to Dr. Wendy Graham, Dr. Ewing Bui, and Dr. Jani. Without these wonderful beings fighting for Jerry, we wouldn’t have been blessed to have him with us as long as we did. Thank you to his favourite nurse, Faith (Care Partners), who truly made him smile and laugh with each visit. You were a guiding light in his darker days. 

We would also like to thank those who assisted him on his final day with us.

Respecting Gerald’s wishes, cremation will occur, and no services will be held.
