Gertrude (Bourgouin) St. George

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at her home on Monday April 4, 2022 at the age of 88 years.  Gertrude was the beloved wife of the late Jean-Claude St. George and the loving mother to Denis St. George (Patty Lynn), Louise Soucy , Gile St. George (Faith) and Gisele St. George.  She was the cherish grandmother to Chad, Dayna, Lee, Kasey and Nicholas and great-grandmother to Emmerson, Declan, Bryson and Devin. Gertrude was the loving sister to Madeleine, Lucille, Charlotte, Monique ; brother in laws and brothers Philip, Jean Pierre , Robert. She is predeceased by her parents Romeo Bourgouin and Alice Bourgouin (nee Tranpanier).  As per Gertrude’s wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium and a private family celebration will occur at a later date.  If desired, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by Gertrude’s family.  Online Condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
