Gilberte Mary (Guillemette) Laperriere

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother Gilberte Laperriere (nee Guillemette) on September 16th, 2023, at Nipissing Manor, with her family by her side. We were fortunate to be able to celebrate her 90th birthday with her in August. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Henri (2015) to whom she was married for 63 years. Survived by her children, Georgette St. Pierre (late Aurel), Viviane Giroux (late Gerald), Helene Champagne (Michel), Henri (Cheryl), and Andre (Lucie). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren with 1 on the way. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Julie Laperriere (late Amedee), and Lucille Voyer (late Conrad), as well as a very special cousin who was like a little brother to her, Conrad Rancourt (Raymonde). She was predeceased by her parents Andre and Desneiges (nee Rancourt) Guillemette. Also predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Adrien (Delicia), Eleonore Gauthier (Gerard), Rosalie Contant (Narcisse), Georgina Dion (Roland), Francoise Menard (Noel), Laurette Dagenais (Raymond), Yvonne LaVictoire (Richard), and Roger (Jeannine Surviving). We really want to thank Nipissing Manor and its staff for taking good care of our mom in the last few months and in her final stages of life. Cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Mass will be held at Paroisse Sacré-Coeur  (Corbeil) on Thursday October 5, 2023 at 11:30 am. Church doors will open at 10:30 am for people to express a condolence to the family before the service. In memory of Gilberte, we ask that rather than flowers, donations be made to Nipissing Manor.
