Harold Edward Loxton

With sorrow the family announces the passing of Harold on April 16, 2021 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband to Ermnie (nee Anderson). Loving father to Trevor and predeceased by his children Dale, Randy, and infant child David Edward and infant daughter. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Joshua, Jessica, Mikylah, Ashlynne, and Gabriel-deceased. Harold is predeceased by his parents Llyod and Ruby (nee Hummel) Loxton and sister Phillis (Dave Darling). He is survived by his brothers Leonard (Betty), Clinton (Iris), Eric (Nancy), and sisters Jane Hughes (Robert), Iris Piper, Marilyn Corriveau (Mark), Charlene Selman, Darlene Edwards, Rose Marie Dorval (Robert), and Pauline Brown (Clarence). The family will receive visitors in a limited capacity at the Whispering Pines Funeral Home on Friday April 23, 2021 from 1pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm. Due to the current Covid -19 restrictions attendance at a visitation and service is scheduled by appointment only and is restricted to the number of attendees. Everyone attending must practice social distancing and wear a mask (please call 705-472-8520 to schedule your appointment) The funeral service will be private. The family intends to have a public graveside service when restrictions have been lifted. Donations are suggested to the Powassan Wesleyan Church and would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
