Irene (Kagon) Wilson

The Wilson family, would like to announce with deep and profound sadness, the passing of their much loved matriarch, their mother Irene Wilson, on December the 4th, 2021, in her 80th year, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

Irene, was the loving and devoted mother to her 3 sons, Kyle Wilson (Kelly), Ron Wilson (Lynn), and her late son Clinton Wilson. 

Irene was a very involved Grandmother to Tanya and Cory, as well as Alyson and Dallas. Irene, was also thrilled to be Great-grandmother, to Michael, Riley, Trinity, Kali and Kagon.

Irene, was predeceased by her parents Charlotte & Paul Kagon, and sisters Erika Kuhn (Kurt), and Margaret Dean (James).

Irene was born in Trebinitz, Deutschland and moved to Canada in 1965. In 1974 she moved to North Bay, with her 3 sons from New Brunswick. She began working at the Civic Hospital shortly after, and remained there until 2000, when she retired.  She loved knitting, crocheting, garage sales, bingo and cooking. But Irene took most pride in being a devoted and forever loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and Aunt.Bis wir uns wiedersehen, Mama Bär

As per Irene's wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home's Crematorium and a Celebration of Life will occur at a later date.
