Jacqueline Martin (née Bédard) passed away peacefully at Cassellholme Home for the aged on May 1st 2020, three years short of reaching her goal to live to be 100. Loving mother of Madeleine (Robert) Mantha, Émilie (Daniel) Johnson, Roxanne (Greg deceased) Robert all of North Bay, Ghislaine (Doug) Taylor of Azilda, Paul (Jane) Martin of Bonfield, Pierre (Tracy Peters) Martin of Peterborough, and her nephew, Marc Bédard of North Bay.  Cherished grand-maman to Josée (Mike), Natalie (Scott), Halden (Terri), Janik (Paul), Julie (Dawson), Mathieu, Nadine (Dan), Kelly (Martin), Jacques (Mélanie), Martin (Sophie), Roch (Lindsey), Alain (Michelle), Renée (Brian), Jessica (Brandon), Hannah (Kaitlynn), Pat and to 25 great-grand-children. Predeceased by her parents Isaïe and Léonide (née Charlebois) Bédard, her husband of 34 years, Omer Martin, two sons André (Cheryl surviving) and Luc (Jennifer and Claudette surviving) and her five brothers Paul-Aimé, Jean-Marc, Jacques (Jocko), Bernard and Raymond. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews particularly by her god-daughter Diane (Don) Clement. Jacqueline was an excellent seamstress. She was also highly skilled with knitting needles and contributed over 2 000 tuques for newborn babies and the Cancer clinic in Sudbury. While her children were growing up, she often regaled them with her short tap-dancing performances and lovely off-tune renditions of 1940’s show tunes. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. We would like to acknowledge the caring and wonderful staff of Willow Street at Cassellholme, for their kindness and compassion. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.  Donations in her memory to the Cassellholme Charitable Foundation will be gratefully appreciated.
