James Kenneth Granger

With sorrow, the family announces the unexpected passing of their father James on May 31, 2023, at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband to the late Jean (nee Collison) and the late Frances Ann (nee Davidson). Loving father to Linda Culham (Rick-deceased), Steve Granger (Madeline), Stan Granger (Brenda), and Chris Granger (Katherine). Lovingly remembered by his stepchildren Marilyn, Lionel, Darius, Alan, Dean and Donna. Cherished grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. James is predeceased by his parents George and Margaret (nee Stewart) Granger, his infant child Gregory, and his siblings Russ, Joan, Shirley and Patricia. He is survived by his brother Ron and sister Helen. The family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) for a memorial visitation on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, between the hours of 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Celebration of James’s Life will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel (North Bay) on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 11 am. The interment of James’s cremated remains will follow in the afternoon at Mickle Memorial Cemetery (124 Lofty Pines Drive, Gravenhurst, Ontario).
