James "Tim" Fitzgerald

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family at his place of residence on February 10th, 2021 at the age of 85 years. James is predeceased by his wife Rose Marie Fitzgerald (nee O’Hearn). Cherished father to Wallace (Rose), Debbie Pitre (Richard), Lucy Dubois (Tom), and Michael Fitzgerald all of North Bay. He will be missed and always remembered by his grandchildren Scott Fitzgerald (Mike), David St Martin (Sheri), Kassie Wilson (Jordan), Amanda Dubois and Joey Dubois as well as his great grandchildren Savannah-Rose, Kiera-Lee, Kingston and Sophie. He will be missed by his godchildren Cheryl O’Hearn and Marc Lacroix. James is survived by his sibling Freda Collins (Bert). He is predeceased by his parents Adolphus Fitzgerald and Agnes Fitzgerald (nee Kenny) as well as by his brother Leo Fitzgerald (Vi) and sisters Bessie Hauser (Farrell) and Rita Devillers (Melvin). James held dear to his heart his O’Hearn family, Jack (Rochelle), Ann (Jacques), Jane (Bob), Ron (Betty), Georgie, and Pat, many nieces and nephews and special friend Sylvia Kennedy. James is a life member of the Royal Canadian Regiment Association, as well as a member of Legion Branch 23. Rest easy Soldier. Pro Patria. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Parish on Friday March 12, 2021 at 2 pm. (Due to Current Covid-19 Restrictions Attendance at a Church Service is scheduled by appointment only as there are limits in place for attendees.
