Joseph Romano Fior

It is with truly broken hearts that we let family and friends know of the sudden passing of Joseph at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on September 2, 2023. Joseph’s great joy and pride came from his family. He leaves “the love of his life”, Maureen, whom he was married to for 45 years, his daughter Meghann Fior (David), and his son Michael Fior. Joseph was blessed to be called Nonno by God’s greatest gift, his granddaughter, Emilia. They often lit up the room sharing silly jokes. Joseph was predeceased by his parents Ernesto and Onorina Fior and is survived by his sister Gina Drew (John). Joseph will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In keeping with Joseph’s wishes, cremation will occur. The family will gather for a private celebration of Joseph’s life. If desired, donations to the CNIB would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
