It is with profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Kenneth McDonald at his home on July 14, 2020 at the age of 66 years. Dearly loved husband of Deborah (nee Rusch). Devoted father of Nathan McDonald (Julie), Darlene Ransom, Deanna Deschene, David Deschene, Robin Seguin (Richard Gibbs) and Kenny Seguin (Laurie). Cherished grandfather of Haylee McDonald, Ava McDonald, Sydney McDonald, Connor Ransom, Marcus Ransom, Skylar Ransom, Dayna Deschene, Dayviene Deschene, Kinsley Deschene, Brittany Seguin, Shawna Seguin, Kiana and Gerri Seguin, and great grandchildren; Zara and Yaseen. Dear brother of Joyce Robinson (Chris), Doug (Donna Kay), Sandy (Gwen), Elaine, Joan Purcell (Mike), Jean Richer (Ken) and Lee (Jodi Lynn). Sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and his correctional officer family at the North Bay Jail. Predeceased by his parents; Charlie and Nellie McDonald (nee Fisher). Ken was a big hearted family man. He was very passionate about his career as a Correctional Officer and always maintained an outstanding relationship with all the inmates. This month Ken celebrated 35 years of sobriety which he was very proud of. Family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (123 Railway St. Sturgeon Falls) on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 11 – 1 pm.
