It is with broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Kim Auger (nee Price) at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on June 17, 2020 at the age of 58 years. Dearly loved wife of Michel ‘Mike’ Auger. Loving mother of Ben (Mikyla) and grandma to Alice. Cherished daughter of Donald Price (Sandy). Dear sister of Dawn Lamoureux (Leo), John Price (Monique), Rhonda Pavlosky (William) and sister-in-law of Richard Auger, Bill Auger (Nellie), Robert Auger (Rob Turncliffe), André Auger (George Lane) and Claudette Peters (Perry). She will be sadly missed by her canine companion Cubby, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by her mom Marilyn Douglas (nee Meecham), father and mother-in-law; Hermes and Irene Auger and her nephew; Matthew Peters. Kim's career, spanning over 30 years, landed her in charge of the blood bank for the North Bay Regional Health Centre, after previously working as a lab technologist. Kim loved a variety of sports, participating in bowling, volleyball, golf, softball, and darts.  Kim embraced nature, and being outdoors, lending to a summer job opportunity as a Junior Ranger in Barrie.  She enjoyed walking her dog, gardening, camping and planning family vacations/gatherings.  Appreciating living on the lake, she took advantage of sitting on the dock, watching the sunrise and sunset, sometimes with a beverage in hand.  Kim will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  Family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home on Saturday June 20, 2020 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St. Vincent-de-Paul on Monday June 22, 2020 at 11 am. In accordance with current directives from the Bereavement Authority of Ontario regarding COVID-19 precautions everyone attending the visitation and or service is required to wear a mask. The total number of attendees is limited; the funeral home encourages anyone wanting to attend these services to contact the funeral home to reserve their visiting time. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society (North Bay) or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the staff of B-1 at the NBRHC for their outstanding care of Kim.
