Lionel Honore Carriere

Our beloved father, Lionel Honore Carriere passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the age of 97. He is survived by his children Gordon and Nancy, Mike and Sue, Sharon-Anne and David, and Mary. He leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Rosemary (Nee Sampson). Lionel loved being in the sun, snowmobiling, gardening, playing cards, and dancing. When they retired, Lionel and Rosemary traveled overseas, across Canada, and into the United States with family and friends. The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home(North Bay) on Friday, July 14, 2023, between the hours of 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Saint Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 9:00am. An interment will be held at the Ste.
