Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on January 27, 2021 at the age of 71 years. Luigi was the loving spouse of Pat Smith. Luigi will be lovingly remembered by his brother Nazarino “Naz” Protomanni. Luigi is predeceased by his parents Silvio Protomanni and Santa (nee Pincivero) Protomanni. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions a Private Funeral Service will be conducted at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay), followed by a burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Peter Monk Cardiac Centre Campaign or the Peterborough Regional Health Centre would be gratefully acknowledged by Luigi’s family.
