Marie (Angie) Angela Foisy

Marie Angela (Angie) Foisy peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on April 30th, 2021 at the age of 83 years. Cherished mother to Tracie Lindblad (Paul) in Grimsby, Gregory Foisy (Karen) in Beamsville, and Susan Bell in North Bay. She will be missed and always remembered by her grandchildren Lauren, Taylor, and Connor. Angie is survived by her siblings Johnny Glinski (Marion) and Fran Horner (Frank). Angie is predeceased by her parents Kenneth Glinski and Kathleen Glinski (nee Seniuk) and her husband, Joseph Glyn Foisy. Angie was a ‘mom’ to so many people and a beloved friend to all. The family home was the hub for all holidays and many weekend card parties. Additional guests were always welcomed and there was always plenty of food and home baking. Her Chelsea buns and butter tarts were coveted by family and friends and there were always care packages for her grandchildren and visitors. She served on the Ontario Hydro Pensioner’s association as the secretary for many years and loved her Ontario Hydro ‘family’. The Family would also like to thank the Nurse’s of B3 at the NBRHC for their caring, compassion and dignity they showed our Mother throughout the week.  Due to Covid-19 the family will be having a private interment at the Callander Union Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health at St. Joseph’s Healthcare (Firestone Institute of Respiratory Health) and the North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC Foundation) would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
