Mary Cecilia Ceresia

Ceresia, Mary Cecilia – Died peacefully at 76 years of age at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Thursday, October 11, 2018, surrounded by love .  Beloved mother of Donald Foote, Lisa Koch (Burghard), Stephen Ceresia (Myha) and Michael Ceresia (Jennifer).  Extremely proud Grandma to Travis Koch (Chansone Faymetta-Koch), Kayla Renaud (Trevor Harding), Jessica Zatylny-Koch (Jordan Jamieson) and Nathan and Sienna Ceresia.  Great-grandma to three amazing little girls; Saydee, Charlee and Valerie.  Cecilia will be missed by her long-time companion and fishing partner Gabriel Guillemette and by her neighbors and friends. Predeceased by husband Frank, parents Stanley and Geraldine White and brother Harvey.  Lovingly remembered by her brother Everett, his wife Madge and special niece Michelle.  Also survived by siblings Conrad and Neil.  Many thanks to the wonderful nurses and staff on B3 at NBRHC who made her last days comfortable.  To Dr. Cowan, Dr. Rogers and Dr. Leckie – there are no words to adequately express how much your genuine care and compassion for our mother means to us.  She was certainly unique! Also thanks to Jenny and Crystal and pharmacists at Guardian Algonquin - she had such an amazing team of caring professionals.  As per Cecilia’s wishes there will be no funeral – in her words, she didn’t want anyone standing around and bawling.  Donations to the Northeastern Ontario Cancer Centre would be gratefully appreciated by her family.
