Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Matthew Morin at his home on Monday, April 17, 2023, at the age of 30. Matthew is survived by his father Pierre Cauvier, his mother Jennifer Given (nee Morin) (Matt), his sister Amanda Cauvier-Morin (Travis Robblee), stepbrother Hayden, and his nephew Colt. He will also be remembered and missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Matthew was the loving father to Marlee and Emmet Morin. Matthew loved his children more than anything. Matthew excelled at everything he did. He loved the outdoors, dirt biking and snowboarding. Matthew had the biggest heart and a smile that could light up a room. He was loved by anyone who knew him, and he will be greatly missed by many.
Cremation has occurred.
The family will be receiving visitors, friends and family at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, for a memorial visitation between the hours of 11 am and 1 pm. A Memorial Service will follow at 1 pm in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, consider donations to a trust fund that is being put in place for Matthew’s children.
