1937-2019

Son of Beatrice Lafontaine (Lemski) and Rene Groulx (both deceased). Sister Elisabeth Shisko ( deceased Dec 2018). With wonderful memories and experiences with family and friends. Maurice passed away on January 1, 2019 at North Bay Regional Health Centre. He leaves behind wife Della to remember all their special moments. Sister-in-law May who held holiday dinners and was always there to help out. Glenn and Connie who shared many adventurous trips over the years. Anne and Lorna (Sly Fox) who loved boating. Danny Shisko (Ann) and other nieces, nephews who were taught outdoor sport and teased by their uncle. Thank You to Don and Lorraine Lafontaine and son Derrick for all our special times together. Remember Maurice as the happy, caring, loving person he was! There will be no service. Donations to the school of your choice towards the “Breakfast Program for Children”

All his friends at Camp Woodcliffe and Rolly, Kurt, Mike, Ken and Louie will have many stories to share. Life this year was made easy with the help of Nancy Hamilton, Ivan Paré (Care Partners) and Helen Fatum for their compassionate care and loving Maurice. Thank you to Dr. Mah and staff in the emergency department, D3, ambulance supporters, firemen, police and Veronica who helped many times during the past years. During all our visits it was wonderful to see such caring people !
