Norman David Gyatt

Peacefully passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on October 14, 2021, at the age of 82 years. Norman was the beloved husband of Sharon Gyatt of 38 years and the late Barbara-Ann Leyland.  He was the loving father to Virginia, Dawn and Cindy, and the cherished grandfather to 11 grandchildren. Norman is predeceased by his parents Harry Gyatt and Olive Gyatt (nee Perkins). Norman was a very loving husband and was committed to caring for all under his wing. He was very involved with the legion, sports chair, and was the Sgt. of Arms at most of their functions.  He will be missed. As per Norman’s Wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home Ltd and a memorial service will be conducted at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Tuesday October 26, 2021, at 2pm. Covid-19 restrictions are in place and require the wearing of a mask or facial covering and practicing social distancing while in the funeral home. If desired, donations to the North Bay Humane Society, The Royal Canadian Legion (Branch 23) and the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
