Peter Villeneuve Obituary

The family of Peter J.J.N. Villeneuve with great sadness, wish to announce his passing, surrounded by his family, after a long fight against his third cancer. Peter was born April 19/53, in North Bay and is predeceased by parents Florence (Blais) Villeneuve and John (Jack) Villeneuve. Beloved husband of Karen Ronald for 32+ years, survived by son Christopher (Jody) Villeneuve, stepson Justin (Christine) Haskins, sister Bernie (Al) Larochelle, brother Mike (Tammy) Cockerline, grandchildren Zacary, Jaime and Ella, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Peter lived Life large, with dignity, kindness and a wicked sense of humour and love for everyone he knew. He loved his sports, baseball, pool, golf and hunting, and made many life long friends from these sports. He was known as ‘The Transmission Guru’, to most of North Bay and other places in Ontario. When Peter met Karen, that night at Cortina’s, he swept her off her feet with his dazzling smile and first kiss. Until we meet again, my Love. A special thank you to NBRHC CCU, and all the nurses, doctors and staff, who treated him with their kindness and care. A Celebration of Peter’s Life, will be held at a later date, to be announced. Donations will be welcomed to the NBRHC, in his honour.
