SAVAGE, Philip Joseph “Phil”

Phil passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on January 2, 2019 at the age of 74 years. Proud and cherished father to Philip “Raymond” Savage and Marc Savage. Phil was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Marguerite (nee Lebel) Savage and his sister Germaine. He is survived by his siblings Annette Savage, Evelyne Swanstrom, Claudette Savage, Dan Savage, Rose Savage Ouellette (Roger) and Marie Bennett (Rodney). Phil enjoyed many years at the family Island on Trout Lake, it was always a very special place for him with his two sons. In keeping with his wish’s cremation will occur with no public visitation or services. If desired donations are suggested to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at the North Bay Regional Health Centre and the North Eastern Ontario Cancer Clinic for their outstanding care and compassion.
